The Crittenden County Detention Center provides alternatives for those who have been sentenced to jail but who have jobs. Listed below are two ways that the courts could proceed with sentencing.

First is the work release program where a person is allowed out of jail to go to work but has to report back to the detention facility after work is over. Participation in this program requires the inmate to pay for their housing at the rate of $32 per day a week in advance, before they can be released to work.

Second is weekend sentencing where a person is sentenced to a certain number of days in jail, but in order to keep their job, they are only incarcerated for 48 hours over the weekends until the sentence is complete. This program also requires the inmate to pay for their housing at the rate of $32 per day to be paid before they are booked in every weekend.
